The regularly scheduled check up for baby and mommy ended in tears today when mommy and doctor couldn't find a heart beat for our little one. Previously, at 9 weeks we had a confirmed heart beat and even saw the little one. But the doctors did all of the possible ultra sounding that doctors can do and finally found the still little one there in the womb.
We're doing okay. It helps that we've got Mr. Noah here to crack us up and keep us busy. And we're so grateful that we're able to conceive. Some people, even some of our closest friends would do anything for a child. We're so thankful for your prayers and hugs. Don't pity us, we're going to be okay. We believe and know and have seen how that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom his whole family in heaven and on earth derives its name. I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.
