One week later! From 9 to 58! It's time to ride =)
SHOCK AND GNAW She might not have been human, but her hunger pains were all too real

It's time to finish up Christmas shopping. If you've got any kids in your family, this is a must read for their safety, and yours! The 10 most dangerous play things of all time! So, this totally begs the question, which of these was your favorite as a kid? :) I can say I played with @ least two of them, and I've only read up to #4 =)

Horse Cave, KY

We had a great time w/ the Shanklins & Horse Cave & Cave City & around the Mammoth Cave area Fri/Sat. Yes, Russell & I camped and did not die. Although, I believe we began to wonder if the tent could potentially have a fire in the center of it and be okay ;)

Russell & I drove around here for a couple VERY late hours Friday night trying to find an open camp site. We found two that were reportedly (according to the website) open. But, what would you expect on a REALLY cold night? Closed :) That's to help ward of insane people from thinking that they can camp. =) Other places like the friendly local KOA however didn't force common sense upon us. Yay for KOA! :) So, we didn't freeze, we had a blast, and we lived ;)

Today we sorta woke up some, froze some more and decided to join the wives & kids @ the Hamptonn Inn for some FREE hot breakfast. I'm sure we did not look like the other well-rested hotel customers, but it sure felt good to be warm and well fed. ;) Back out to find our picture spot (entrance above) and then to get some $1 swim trunks on clearance from WMT to go HOT TUBBIN' @ the hotel! YAY AGAIN!

Noah joined us in the very warm pool and again enjoyed swimming! 2nd time swimming within a week. wow. Go Noah! He still loves it and splashes around a TON! SO much fun! Eventually, Carrie & Clara & Andrea & Noah went on a cave tour (I know, leave it to them to go spelunking while Russell & I recover from freezing our butts off) :) Ahh well, we had a blast and sure enjoyed the company! =) Posted by Picasa

Noah the Happy Boy in Illinois

11 Weeks old today! WOW!
@ 10 weeks, during this video, Noah likes to have his diaper changed, as evidenced by his MANY smiles & coos while getting his messed cleaned up ;) Noah STILL likes to have his diaper changed. He's in the big boy britches now! SIZE TWO! WOW! Yes, that was a result of national blowout day, as evidenced in the pictures below ;)

I was just going to blog about this and show the world what "Blowoutboy" is capable in only ONE day on MILK ALONE! But, then again, I clicked this pic too soon...

Below, as you can see, is his grand finale. The blow out to out "doo" them all. This one had me wondering if there was any hope @ all for our potty training efforts some day! whew! Fortunately, however, this does reassure me that all the plumbing is working well and that he's a healthy little boy. We're also pretty glad that he didn't decide to blow this out on us during bath time, or while we were changing a diaper...but still...wow...Noah, impressive! And yes, for those of you counting, that is four outfits that he cristened today. Quite the accomplishment I'd say. However, Mr Achiever Pants went ahead and blew through the diaper and clothes onto the four blankets in the picture too...needless to say, we're moving up to size 2's now...what a GROWING boy! ;)

Sometimes Noah likes to be a little tiny superman. :) Mostly b/c he gets some gas, and he likes to be on his belly...well...sometimes... =) Sometimes he just screams about it and we can't really fix that when he's determined to scream =)

This is the BIGGEST smiling time for Noah now. Two or three weeks ago he hated getting clean britches! Now, he's sooooo excited to get clean britches. He shows us this by smiling from EAR to EAR! :)

Noah wears hats like daddy! We have to make a warm boy to go out and find the best spots in our yard to plant our new trees! :) He was quite helpful ;) Posted by Picasa

Noah and I are enjoying our Sunday afternoon football times =) Noah controls the remote sometimes, although he mostly just flaps his arms around. =) Posted by Picasa

Noah's appointments went well. Monday we had the ultrasound @ Kosair. That doctor seemed to think that he had a swollen place inside his neck muscle. Our peditrician wanted us to still see the pediatric surgeon the next day, so we did. Dr Nagarat, the ped-surg guy, said that we could cure his little cyst/tumor w/ physical therapy! YAY! The doc said that it is a Congenital Muscular Torticollis (CMT), by far, the most common form in infants. So, we do two sessions of physical therapy w/ the little cute boy / day now. So far, he's been okay doing it, b/c we do it RIGHT after feeding ;) He's really chilled out then ;)

THank you all so MUCH for your prayers and encouragement!

Please keep Noah in your prayers. The doctor found a cyst below his right ear. The doctor said that they're typically (like 99%) benign. However they recommended an ultrasound @ Kosair Children's Hospital on Monday & a consult on Tuesday with a pediatric surgeon. We're a little spazzed about it, but we pretty much figure that's our job, since we're his parents and all. We're so thankful everything else has been so good up to this point. Thank you for your prayers and encouragements!

Such a purty mommy! Cuddle time presents so many new challenges...where to put the boy, how to get him there, how to get up w.o hurting the boy, you know, all that ;)
Mommy thought he was cute again, she was right! ;)
LOOK WHOSE BELLY BUTTON DOESN'T HAVE A CORD!!!!! YAY! AND, today was Noahs first bath where he got his belly button wet too! All kinds of good fun ;)

Noah still sleeps 3 hours @ a time on average . He usually does so in lots of cute positions ;) Football & Cheerleading is in its second week of camp @ Sports Shorts here in Georgetown. GCC has seen nearly 50 kids @ the first camp, 20% of which show up for KIDS Church. WAHOO!
Andrea decided that Noah had really cute eyes ;)
Again, Noah loves to sleep in really cute positions. =) Its one of my favorite past times now to show mommy his little arm & leg positions. What a fun boy!
