ShopFreePay.com (which is now closed to new business) finally shipped my iMac. I began doing offers back on 8/23/07. I "completed" my offers on 10/17 this year. I probably lost track of all of the emails I had to send, though I did keep track of the first 10 or so. I guess the next 5 are in my sent emails, but man, it seems as though it took forever!

anyway, It's finally on its way now! YAY!

You'll love it. We have a Mac laptop, and will never own a PC again. Even my IT Dept. is loving them. We have had it for nearly 2 1/2 years and it has never even crashed. The only trouble that we have had is that our young assistant was able to get to it and pulled off several keys (important ones like shift and a, not boring ones like q or z) But even then we took it over to the Apple Mecca, and they replaced the entire keyboard while we were standing there for free because of the warranty on ot was still good. They have redesigned the new keyboards since we got ours so you shouldn't have that trouble. :) The iMac looks awesome. We'll have to come over and visit it.... I mean, you guys.

baaaaaaawhahahaha!

yeah, so far it's a lot different. Since I am my IT department, I look for all of those little things that I used to fiddle with and don't know where or how to find them yet, so I know that the learning curve is going to be pretty steep, but from what I've seen so far, it sure looks worth it! =)

I've heard that it's got super-dee-duper webdesign elements too. I'll have to check all that jazz out.

1st Priority though is getting work stuff transferred over so I can rework my machine to move on to Mrs. Huntley. Her puter doesn't really like work, or even NOT work, I think it generally just likes to make noise, pretend to work, and then crash, right when you need something. ;)

anyway, after that, Priority #2 will be to make an iMovie! I can't WAIT to author and EDIT one film in ONE program instead of having to download like 18 freeware programs to do one st00pid DVD! GRRR!

So, yeah, excited...and getting to discover apple a little at a time, pretty fun incentive to go into work now! ;)
