so today was another baby apt. I didn't make this one :( So, in my heart I pretty well knew what that meant. Either 1. Andrea would go INTO labor and Noah would be like peeking out by the time I got there (somehow) OR 2. Noah would actually be the first baby on record to speak into the fetal heart monitor. (any guesses on what he woulda said?) :) OR even better yet, the most likely #3. Something would actually happen that would necessitate my being there.

You guessed it! #3! =) Of course, Andrea was fine w/o my being there, but as it stands now, we've gotta go back tomorrow...b/c I wasn't there. DOH! :( bleh.

anyway, remember those pictures of Noah down there a ways... the 3D pix where Noah is facing upwards...you know...in that head toward the top, not so much the bottom position. And how the doc's have done this leopolds maneuver to make certain that he was not still this way...well, yeah, he is. He's my little breech boy! I guess it's been such a great pregnancy for so long now b/c he hasn't had any of that blood runnin' into his tiny little head. Heck, if I had it all to do over again, and Mom, correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't I sit in there like noah? =) I know I was a C-section boy, but can't remember why...anyway, he's chillin' out in there sittin' in mommy's tummy all comfy and warm. Boy is he going to be rudely awakened ;)

we're going back tomorrow to discuss which options is best for the Boy & the Mommy.
1. epidural + external cephalic version
2. epidural + cesarean

Here are some pix of the version

we've read our brains out tonight on the risks/benefits...and we've got a list a mile long for the doc tomorrow. So, we're about as prepared as we're gonna get.

So, of course, on one hand now I'm excited that Andrea doesn't have to go through all that horrible pain, while on the other I'm sad that she doesn't get to "experience" it (b/c she's sorta disappointed) But, overall I'm still really relieved and glad to hear that our little boy is healthy ;)

So, in other news, the yard got mowed! yay! Mowed in the DARK, but its mowed ;) and that feels GREAT! Its always an adventure to wake up and look for spots that I missed in the dark ;)

Well, baby appointment #700billion went well today! ;) Andrea is 2cm and Noah is a good little growing boy! =) Andrea's lost another 1/2 lb, but that's no prob according to the Doc. =) Yay! Doc says she's GREAT! They won't be doing anything to move Andrea & Noah any faster until week 41 has passed. =) However, according to both Grandmas and many other folks who've been there and done that, it's a full moon so these two parts of my day were the heart stopping moments...

#1 Phone call from Andrea in worried voice: "Are you on your motorcycle?"
This question in itself is sorta funny b/c I answered the phone! =) (for the record, I've never answered the cellphone while riding before. See mom, I'm safe) :) So, she's asking in this really nervous sounding voice and I'm thinkin' oh man that flippin' moon isn't even OUT and it's gone and tugged Noah outta there! So, I figure here we go! NO car seat in yet and Noah is coming to visit for 18 years! oh boy! Turns out, she was just frustrated...no babies coming out yet! ;)

#2 She leans forward on the couch and in a concerned/urgent voice (staring @ her stomach) "oh no!" Again, now the "Full Moon" is actually OUT and I figure for SURE he's coming out now! =) Nope! She just felt a pencil poke her belly and was worried that she got lead in her belly =)

So, needless to say, I experienced plenty of my own nesting today! =)

The Pack & Play is ready to roll for the little boy when he arrives.

Before and after setting up the travel system =) I thought for sure that I'd feel so incredibly accomplished after assembling these...nah...they were beyond self explanitory. I've had more difficulty setting up a tripod from wal-mart! =)

Tomorrow the car seat part of the travel system goes into each of our vehicles.

In other news, the basement storage room is beginning to get used...starting to move stuff in there out of the up and coming workout/work on puters room. That should free up a TON of room AND get our yard sale stuff ready to roll too!

twenty days! OH MY GOODNESS!

I can NOT believe that it's only 20 days 'til Noah is "due." Of course, Mommy and I, along w/ everyone else on the planet, think Noah will be here a 'bit early. And, if "Murphy" has anything to do w/ it, he'll be two weeks late ;) Little Punk, worryin' us already =P

This past weekend was flippin' amazing! Havin' my sister & brother(inlaw) AND mi padres in was completely amazing! We had so much fun together! We even played 19-way dominos. Man, we had so much fun just hanging out with the family (and workin' in the basement some too).

So, as they all departed on Monday, some of Andrea's cousin' from Illinois were passing through and dropped by for a visit! FUN! I got to take her cousins on a ride on the bike, which I'm pretty sure they LOVED, as did I. It was GREAT weather for a ride and I desperately needed the excuse to get on it! (thank you Jesus). Then the ZMan dropped in for a bit, then, finally, 4 days after it all began...silence! =) We got to talk and rest and it was FUN too!

So, today, back at it again, Andrea's parents graciously came over for a brief 24 hours only to work 10 of those in the basement! WAHOO! Got even MORE stuff done down there! I'd say that it looks better than most of theupstairs now! There are a few spackle places and some white paint to be appplied on the baseboard and doors, but that's it! There's nothing else to "finish." So, the Grandparent's suite is officially operational, and served it's inagural weekend this past Memorial day weekend when my family was in. Mom and Dad tested and approved! =)

I'll have to get some pix up here sometime soon! Maybe not 2morrow...but soon!

Keep prayin' that the little boy grows healthy like he has. We're doing weekly appointments @ the Doc's now. They say she's NOT dialated (as of LAST Thurs.) We'll see again this Thurs. Also keep the little mommy in your prayers as she's doing GREAT and feeling GREAT and I don't really want that to change... @ least not until it absolutely HAS to!

Heck yeah! We got the bathroom LIGHTS up AND the fan / light assembly hooked up AND the shower rod/curtain up AND the faucet(s) on in the shower. That sink faucet is just in there, not all hooked up yet. :( Ahh well, not bad for FRIDAY NIGHT eh? :) Hopefully get the bath/hall transition strip down and door in tomorrow. Then do outlet covers, light/fan cover and hook up the faucets glue down the sink, attach the vanity to the wall and put up the mirror. Then we've only got TWO more doors to put up YAY! =)
Breakfast! Pop made some yummy YUMMY blueberry pancakes and sausage! YUMMY!
Ma & Mable & Andrea working on the muddin' in the hallway. Looks like we'll be able to button that up not TOO far into the future! =)
We had a GREAT tour of the Louisville Bat Factory and Slugger Museum on Saturday afternoon! THEN, over to Rocky's Italian Grill on the River for some dinner, then we got to check out...
The Jazz Factory! (thanks Erin! GREAT Suggestion!) We got to see Jamey Aebersold play! WOW! Phenomenal!
